Duplicates arrive with every migration and every new supplier feed, and merging them badly loses data. In Pimberly, they are surfaced through a saved view and a duplicates facet, then merged with every attribute compared side by side: one record set as master, the rest merged or ignored, and merge priority deciding which values carry over where the master is blank. Nothing is combined without being reviewed first.
With Pimberly’s duplicate merging, you can:
- Surface duplicates with a saved view and a duplicates facet, filtered down to the records that need attention
- Compare every attribute across the selected records side by side, so differences are visible before anything is committed
- Choose which record becomes the master, the one that survives and receives values from the others
- Set each remaining record to merge or to be ignored, with nothing combined automatically
- Set a merge priority, so an empty attribute on the master is filled from the next record in line
- Confirm before anything is deleted — the grid returns a single tidied record in place of the duplicates
