This demonstration will show you how to configure Pimberly, to automatically link images to products using the unique key within the basic attribute set. We have an attribute called default image, which we want to automatically pick up any images that have a file name that matches the primary ID of a product, auto populate filter, which allows us to set the rules to link the images to the products. Click on add condition. Select the asset file name. The comparison? And select the primary ID attribute. Click add condition to add that condition. And then click save to save the new attribute settings.

To test this, we can go into the products tab and create a new product. Clicking on the product shows us that there is no thumbnail for the product. And if I double click and open it up, there’s no default image either. Now, I can go to the media tab and add an image for this product. I have a file here. This file name is the match of my product ID. So select that. Now, if I go back to the product section, click on my product now has a thumbnail image. And if I drill into it, we can also see that it has the image, which has been attached to the product successfully using that rule.
