The Problem: Product data spread across mutiple systems

Rockfall needed a PIM and DAM solution to bring all product information and media assets into a single, reliable source of truth. As Rockfall’s product range continued to grow, managing product data through manual processes was becoming increasingly difficult. Information was spread across multiple systems, making it time-consuming to update and maintain, whilst accuracy and consistency become increasingly difficult to maintain. This led to slower updates and greater risk of inconsistencies across channels.

Pimberly stood out by providing a single, centralised platform with strong automation and the flexibility to manage complex product and compliance data efficiently. The team was confident it would improve accuracy, speed up updates, and scale with the business as it continued to grow.

The Solution: Centralising product data with Pimberly

The Purchasing Analyst and Marketing team led the implementation of Pimberly, with oversight from the Product/Purchasing Manager and senior leadership team. Their goal was to introduce a centralised platform to better manage Rockfall’s growing product catalogue. By collaborating across teams, they ensured the platform met both operational and commercial needs.

From the initial demo with the Pimberly team through to final internal sign-off, the implementation took around six months, aligning with the company’s expectations and project planning. Rockfall also integrated its ERP system, OrderWise, with Pimberly via API. This allowed product data to flow efficiently between systems and remain accurate with minimal manual intervention required. The integration was implemented with support from a specialist Pimberly consultant alongside the internal team.
