About the Role

We are looking for an energetic technically focused person to join our new US team based in New York, you will be working alongside the CEO and the rest of the US team and working closely with the UK marketing team. You’ll learn how to demonstrate the Pimberly platform so that you can hold web demonstrations for prospective customers.

The Solution Consultant’s role is to successfully demonstrate remotely via Zoom the Pimberly platform whilst understanding the customer’s pain points and articulating where Pimberly solves these. The role also includes helping the marketing team develop sales collateral for the Pimberly website including “how to videos” and attending events and exhibitions where necessary.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Deliver articulate, persuasive online demonstrations
  • Confidently demonstrate the benefits of Pimberly to new prospects
  • Document each prospect demonstration so that comprehensive notes can be passed to colleagues in Sales and Operations in order to continue the sales campaign or project
  • Collect qualification criteria including SKUs, users, storage, localization, timescales, budgets, etc
  • Develop and enhance the standard demonstration
  • Assist in the production of personalized demonstrations
  • Work with the Sales & Professional Services teams on campaigns and projects

Requirements

  • Technically orientated sales professional that wants to move into pre-sales role
  • Experience with B2B SaaS software solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized, attention to detail
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software
  • Good presentation skills for web calls and videos
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate technical solutions in non-technical, business-focused language;
  • Knowledge of retail, wholesale distribution, warehousing, and eCommerce industry sectors
  • An understanding of the challenges a multi-channel retail business faces and how technology can solve
