Maple Prime are a leading eCommerce supplier in the beauty industry, specializing in cutting-edge skincare, fragrance, body care, and hair products. Their presence extends across various platforms, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and their own dedicated website. What began as a small family venture has blossomed into Maple Prime’s rapid ascension as a key player in beauty supplies. 

To facilitate growth, Maple Prime has focussed on enhancing its digital infrastructure, seeking innovative solutions to streamline operations and elevate revenue generation. One of the major projects they have recently undertaken was a massive redesign and structure of their website, which Pimberly was fundamental to.

One of the primary systems Maple Prime used to store this information was a bespoke database which was coded by an in-house team. All items and pricing were stored here and then pulled into the various different sales channels.

By using multiple decision tables to identify hundreds of keywords and acronyms, Pimberly has empowered Maple Prime to automatically populate attributes such as brand, size, gender and fragrance type of thousands of products.

Boosting SEO with PIM

Maple Prime has implemented a strategic approach by incorporating alt text into their image optimization strategy, aimed at enhancing their SEO ranking across various search engines. Leveraging the automation capabilities provided by Pimberly, Maple Prime has streamlined this process to improve efficiencies.

Images are imported into Pimberly with their original file name. Through Pimberly’s intuitive saved view functionality, Maple Prime effortlessly identifies images necessitating renaming for alt-text integration. Subsequently, Maple Prime execute a tailored script to duplicate and rename images before seamlessly integrating them into their Shopify site via Pimberly’s versatile channel functionality.
